Review by hotel critic
During my recent gourmet getaway at La Loge Du Vieux Lyon Bed & Breakfast, I was delighted by the culinary innovation and the charming ambiance of the on-site restaurant. As a French food enthusiast, I always seek authentic dining experiences that showcase local flavors. One distinctive touch I appreciated was the way my luggage was courteously handled. Upon arrival, I was invited to leave my luggage in the cozy Lounge located on the ground floor from 10:00 a.m onwards, allowing me to roam the picturesque streets of Lyon unencumbered. The apartment itself featured a well-equipped kitchen with a toaster, oven, and dining area, which made me consider trying my hand at French cooking. However, the proximity of Restaurant Cafe Du Soleil, just a stone's throw away, proved too tempting to resist. One memorable evening was spent at Cafe Luna, a mere 0.06 km away, where I savored a delightful breakfast accompanied by a selection of exquisite pastries. The proximity of such authentic eateries like Al Dente and La Paloma Del Sol enriched my gastronomic journey through Lyon's historical streets. In conclusion, La Loge Du Vieux Lyon seamlessly combines French culinary tradition with modern comfort, creating a truly memorable experience for food enthusiasts like myself.
